The sessions of counselling I had with Amanda really enabled me to make sense of my thoughts and feelings. At the beginning, the idea of counselling made me feel quite uncomfortable and I often questioned if ‘I really needed it’ or ‘If I was worthy of counselling’. However, Amanda reassured me that it was ok to have these feelings and later throughout our conversations I found that our sessions were really helpful to me. Amanda is very compassionate and I felt she listened well without judgement to the topics we spoke about. At the beginning I felt a little lost in my life and I felt like I just wanted to escape from it at times. However, confronting these emotions with help from Amanda really did make a difference in how I felt and also encouraged me to be proactive in my own life by finding answers to certain things I had questions for. I would certainly recommend Amanda as a counsellor and would certainly contact her in the future if I felt like I needed to. Thank you Amanda! MM
I was skeptical and nervous about starting my first session with Amanda. I had always found it difficult to speak to people about how I felt about things without being judged, after the first session I began to feel a lot more comfortable and confident in speaking to Amanda about my worries. I had never felt overly comfortable speaking to anyone properly before without the feeling of being judged or being given advice that I didn’t agree with. I have had family troubles for a number of years now which had quite a significant effect on me and where I put myself in my life. I found that an hour a week with Amanda put me in a position to finally put my feelings and my life first. Before my sessions I was always overthinking things in my head, worrying about other people and forgetting about my own feelings along the way as well as how to address them. I can confidently say after my sessions I feel a huge weight lifted and I am beginging to enjoy my life and live it how I want too live and not worrying about being judged for it as long as I am happy in my choices. Amanda, thank you for listening to me and making me believe in myself again. 😊. LS

Thank you for understanding the depth of my emotions. I came to you completely overwhelmed with the utter devastation of the injustices we'd been put through and seeing no clear way forward. But you gave me a safe place to offload everything without judgement and allowed me to empty the heavy darkness that was weighing me down.
You have helped me to be me again with a much clearer positive mindset going forward.
